MANDATORY WEARING OF FACE MASK AND OTHER SIMILAR PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Dear Residents,
We wish to remind our residents that wearing face masks or other forms of protective equipment are still required when stepping out of their houses.
This is in accordance with Makati City Ordinance No. 2020-089 and with the IATF ruling under Resolution No. 18 which “adopts the policy of mandatory wearing by all residents of face masks, ear loop masks, indigenous, reusable or do-it-yourself masks, face shields, handkerchiefs or such other protective equipment that can effectively lessen the transmission of COVID-19 whenever allowed to go out of their residences under existing guidelines issued by the national government.”
We all understand it is difficult to wear face masks, particularly when running or biking, but as a courtesy and to avoid infection, we enjoin everyone to please use your masks properly in public places, specially when other people are around.
