Dear Residents,

Please stay calm. This is not the first time we have gone through ECQ and shelter-at-home event. The Covid Delta Variant is expected to linger still so please continue to be prudent and exercise proper protocol measures even if fully vaccinated.

Please ask your staff to refrain from socializing with neighbor staff – not unless it’s important.

The National Government, in its effort, to rein in the spread of the Delta variant has resorted to lockdown with very little guidance (AT THE MOMENT) to the barangay except for the issuance of Quarantine Passes. What we know of as possible activities were culled from media sources which the Local Government Unit (LGU) has not formally confirmed or contradicted. Acitivities like outdoor exercise, so long as within community, may possibly be allowed according to media until the Local Government Unit (LGU) has formally indicated otherwise.

None of us would like a heavily policed state. So please exercise prudence and keep in step with the required protocols such as, but not limited to maintaining social distance, wearing of face masks and face shields and proper hygiene.

Covid Delta Variant is a disease that is caused by airborne viral transmission. We cannot emphasize that social distancing with masks and vaccinations are the only proven solutions, for now, to this problem.

Please stay safe and be well.

Barangay Dasmariñas Council
