DVA Security Update

Jun 21, 2020

Dear Residents,

On June 20, 2020, the Makati City Hall Covid-19 Update showed that Dasmariñas had zero (0) active cases. This number matches our own unofficial count taken from our own security records and the information kindly shared with us by our affected residents.

This is very welcome news. However, this does not mean that we will ease up on our security protocols. We will continue with all current procedures including temperature checks for vehicles entering through the resident’s vehicular lanes. This temperature check serves several important purposes. First, it follows the minimum public health standards outlined by the IATF. Second, it is a reminder to all our residents and guests that we are still in General Community Quarantine and everyone must still be cautious. Finally, and just as important, it allows our security guards to conduct security checks on all vehicles. Over the past months during ECQ/MECQ/GCQ, our security team has intercepted several attempts to bring in unauthorized persons hiding inside the vehicles.

We appreciate that some residents have even more stringent anti Covid-19 precautions than IATF requirements. With this in mind, our security guards have been instructed that residents who have their own thermometers can opt to just take their own body tempratures inside their vehicles and show the results to our guards. Our guards will accept this and no longer check the temperature themselves.

For even faster processing at the security barriers, please open all windows as you approach the guards so they can easily check the interior of the vehicle. This is particularly true for dark tinted vans.

Thank you very much and we hope for everyone’s continued cooperation.
