3. House/Building Construction
3.1 All residences and buildings require the prior approval of the Association before construction is allowed, to ensure the use of strong materials, the type of architecture harmonizes with the surrounding landscape, and the building regulations on easements are strictly followed.
3.2 Any original and/or remodeling, additional constructions to the existing residence must have the prior approval of the Association. Plans showing the proposed construction of the existing residence and lot boundary should be submitted to DVA.
3.3 Our Village Rules prohibit construction workers from working during Sundays and Legal Holidays Maintenance house repairs may be allowed on Sunday and legal holidays provided that the following requirements are met:
- Workers must have a valid DVA maintenance ID;
- No noisy works or any works that can be constructed as a disturbance to immediate neighbors;
- Only emergency house repairs like plumbing, roofing and electrical repairs are allowed.
Construction workers are allowed to work from 8:00AM to 12:00NN and 1:00PM to 5:00PM from Mondays – Fridays, 8:00AM to 12:00NN for noisy and outdoor works and 1:00PM to 5:00PM for non-noisy and indoor works on Saturdays.
